Whitout functional landing gear, the aircraft was unable to brake, causing it veer off the runway. Witnesses report that the plane missed a crucial turn and crashed abruptly, generating a massive plume of smoke upon impact with the barrier.

Adding to the tragedy, earlier accounts suggest an explosion, possibly due to a bird strike, in the right-wing engine shortly before the crash. A bird strike refers to a collision between an aircraft and one or more birds, which can cause catastrophic engine failure.

While the exact sequence of events remains unconfirmed, authorities are analyzing the evidence from the crash site and consulting aviation experts to determine the root cause.

Meanwhile, a family member of one of the passagers shared a chilling detail that may shed light on the incident. Speaking to News1, they revealed the last KakaoTalk messages exchanged with their loved one aboard the flight. The text mentioned a bird strike, adding weight to the theory of an engine failure, caused by an aviation collision. Tragically, the family was unable to contact the passenger since receiving the messages.

Emergency response teams worked tirelessly to contain the flames and search for survivors. The aviation community and the nation mourned the loss of life in this devastating incident.
